• GHOST LIGHT STUDIOS is the brainchild of Actor, Acting Coach and Designated Linklater Teacher, Erica Muscat.

Ghost Light Studios was born of a need to ensure internationally recognised, quality, Continued Professional Development (CPD) for the Performer and Professional in Malta.

Supported by the CASE Malta Programme - a partnership between Arts Council Malta and In Place of War - Ghost Light Studios was launched with its first incentive: The Ghost Light Project, a 10-week Voice Course working through Kristin Linklater’s Progression of Exercises.

This is just the first of many more Classes and Masterclasses organised with the Performer and Professional at heart.

We are excited to offer a space to Local Experts in their respective fields whose Skills can be used for the benefit of Local Talent.

We strive to keep classes affordable and accessible; serving to enrich the local scene for future generations.

  • GHOST LIGHT n. A single light, left on, on a stage, when the theatre is closed and the space would otherwise be left in complete darkness.

JUST AS THE LIGHT GOES ON… SO, DOES THE ACTOR’S WORK BEGIN; THROUGH CONTINUED EXPLORATION OF OUR GREATEST INSTRUMENT - OURSELVES - IN BODY, TIME AND SPACE.
