HOW MANY HOURS OF FREE TRAINING IN TOTAL?

30RS of FREE Training over a Total of 11 weeks.

WHO IS MY TUTOR?

ERICA MUSCAT is a Professional Stage and Screen Actor. She’s also an Acting Coach and Voice Coach and currently on her way to becoming Malta’s first Designated Linklater Voice Coach.

DATES, TIMES and LOCATION?

May through July 2023. Sundays from 10am to 1pm. Location to be Confirmed but… Malta! And we’re keeping it Central.

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO APPLY?

25th April.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF CONFIRMING MY SPACE?

  1. Register your interest by the Deadline.

  2. We will be in touch to set up a short ‘getting-to-know-you’ interview to see how this course can best benefit you.

  3. Will will confirm your space by the 3rd May.

  4. Class starts on the 7th May.

    As Explained in the above video, there are a limited number of spaces on the course and the reason why we this Course has been funded and why we are able to offer this for free if that we will be looking to put together the most diverse cohort of students possible to better understand how to organise Affordable and Accessible courses for Continued Professional Development, moving forward.

UPDATE ON 19.04.2023 SPECIAL OFFER FOR APPLICANTS:

We have had such an incredible show of interest from you all, that even if you do not get accepted onto the course, because of limited space, we will be offering 3, 1:1 sessions for a reduced rate of Eu20/hr (*for EACH student who applies) and you can use those lessons however you wish, whether it is a 1:1 Voice or Acting Session, Sight-Reading, Audition Prep (for Stage or Camera), Self-taping etc. So sign-up and Register your Interest for the Ghost Light project by the 25th April 2023 and get 3 lessons at a reduced rate of Eu20. (*you must avail yourself of the offer in hand by the end of July 2023).

HOW MANY STUDENTS IN TOTAL?

In order to ensure that each participant receives as much individual attention as possible, within the time we have, we have limited the intake for this course to only 10 participants.

HOW IS THIS FREE?

Thanks to the support of The CASE Malta Programme in a partnership with Arts Council Malta we are able to offer this course entirely for FREE.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO APPLY?

NONE! You can be at the start of your acting career or knee deep in the trenches or simply inspired to work on your voice.

We simply ask that you be at least 18 years of age (no upper age limit) and able to commit to the entire course.

FINAL NOTE

If you’re only just at the start of your career, you may think it daunting to apply alongside professionals.

HOWEVER, the beauty of KRISTIN LINKLATER’s Progression of exercises is that they start from the absolute beginning, regardless of your experience; it’s the only way to ensure a solid foundation for your practice.

Furthermore, since this Project is Supported by the CASE Malta Programme in a collaboration with Arts Council Malta, we are seeking a mix of abilities and backgrounds.
